Questions, answered.

Does Easy Auto Refresh keep timers running after I close the browser?
Yes. Timers are tracked by URL origin and stored using chrome.alarms and chrome.storage. When you reopen Chrome, every timer resumes from its exact remaining time — even if you set it days ago.
Can I auto-refresh multiple sites at the same time?
Absolutely. Each site runs its own independent timer with its own settings. The Active Sites dashboard inside the popup shows everything at a glance: domain, mode, refresh count, active duration, and a one-click stop.
Will it reload while I’m filling out a form?
No — when Pause When Typing is enabled (it’s on by default for every site), the extension detects active inputs, textareas, and contenteditable fields, and quietly defers the reload until you stop typing.
Can I cancel a reload at the last second?
Yes. Turn on the Countdown Overlay in settings and a 3·2·1 countdown appears on the page before each reload, with a Skip this reload button. The skip cancels the upcoming refresh and starts a fresh cycle.
Does it send any of my data anywhere?
No. Easy Auto Refresh is fully local — there are no servers, no analytics, no tracking. All settings live in your browser via chrome.storage.local and never leave your device.
What’s the minimum and maximum interval?
You can set anything from a few seconds up to several hours. Very short intervals are clamped by Chrome’s alarm scheduler to a small minimum (typically 30 seconds in production), and the on-screen countdown adjusts automatically to match.
Is Easy Auto Refresh really free?
Yes — completely free, no premium tier, no ads. If it saves you time, you can support development through Buy Me a Coffee. That’s it.
